Thank you for shopping with Mama J Candles, LLC. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains when returns, refunds, and exchanges are accepted for products purchased from [Mamajcandles.com].

We want you to love your purchase. Our general policy includes:

  • Returns accepted within [7] days of delivery for unopened and unused Products.

  • Due to hygienic and safety reasons, used or opened items may not be eligible for return.

  • Custom or personalized items are non-refundable unless defective.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns within [7] days of the delivery date for the following conditions:

Returnable Items:

  • Candles, soaps, wax melts, air fresheners, and hand sanitizers that are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.

  • Products that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Non-Returnable Items:

Due to the personal and consumable nature of our products, the following cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used products

  • Products damaged by the customer

  • Clearance, final-sale, or promotional items

  • Personalized or custom-made items (if applicable)

If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us for clarification.


2. Reporting Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at  Lula@Mamajcandles.com 

  2. Provide your order number and clear photos of:

    • The damaged or incorrect item

    • The packaging

    • The shipping label

  3. We will review the claim and offer a replacement or refund.


3. Return Process

To request a return:

  1. Email us at Lula@mamajcandles.com with your order number and reason for the return.

  2. Once approved, we will provide return instructions and the return address.

  3. Items must be shipped back within [3] days of approval.

Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to our error (defective, incorrect item), we will cover return shipping costs.

  • For all other returns, the customer is responsible for shipping fees.


4. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or credit card provider.

Shipping fees are non-refundable, except when the return is due to our error.


5. Exchanges

We offer exchanges only for products that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
If you wish to exchange for a different scent or item, it may be processed as a new order.


6. Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within [12] hours of purchase if they have not shipped.
Once the order ships, it cannot be canceled and must follow the return process.
